Adriano Dalla Valentina was born in Murano in 1945. He began working in a glass fornace at the age of 10, spending the next fourteen years performing varied tasks in several Murano furnaces. This vaste experience allowed him to perfect his glass working skills. With this treasure of knowledge, at the age of 24 Adriano established his indipendence by opening his own furnace. Throughout the years, he built a reputation in Murano as one of the greatest Maestros, a model for future generations. Venice, resulting in award winning designs. His talents span various glass working techniques, though he is best recognized in the typical venetian style: “Murrina and canne” working. He shares his experience with well-known architects and designers, reproducing their projects in glass. His work has appeared in numerous expositions, including the Murano Award, the one artist show in Rome “From Murano to Rome in the world”. He exposed in France at “Salon International des artistes verriers”, Tours, 1997. In 1998 Adriano presents “Four Seasons” at the second edition of “Venezia Aperto Vetro” at Doges Palace. |

In October 1998 Adriano exhibts at “Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa” in cooperation with several Art Institutes. Masterpieces of Adriano Dalla Valentina are currently displayed in the most important European cities, Japanese museums and art galleries in the USA.
